Monday Mailbox

Some books I expect and others are exciting surprises. This week was a week of exciting surprises and I couldn't be happier. This past week's mailbox arrivals:

The Butternut Tree by Maureen Richards Kostalnick came from Meryl Moss Media Relations.

A child judged by their small Ohio town for her mother's perceived sins vows to live a different life. This sounds like it could be heartbreaking.

Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald by Therese Anne Fowler came from St. Martin's Press.

Since my dogs' names are Daisy and Gatsby, I might have a bit of a Fitzgerald obsession. And Zelda is such an enticing figure!

The Book fo Someday by Dianne Dixon came from Sourcebooks.

Three women connected by a mystery, each about to face something that will change the course of their lives, this sounds terrific and intriguing.

The One-Way Bridge by Cathie Pelletier came from Sourcebooks.

Strife, petty and large, in a small town in Maine, written by the incomparable Pelletier, could this get any more appealing?

If you'd like to see the marvelous goodies in other people's mailboxes, make sure to visit MariReads as she is hosting this month's Mailbox Monday and have fun seeing how we are all doing our part to keep the USPS and delivery services viable.

I have had to disable the anonymous comment option to cut down on the spam and I apologize to those of you for whom this makes commenting a chore. I hope you'll still opt to leave me your thoughts. I love to hear what you think, especially so I know I'm not just whistling into the wind here at my computer.
