Sunday Salon: Inspire me

I have been incredibly neglectful of the blog lately. There are a ton of reasons for this but generally they all boil down to life as usual in the spring. I have been reading along, as always, but not doing a thing in the world about reviewing anything so I now have a ridiculously long backlog. If you're anything like me, sometimes being so far behind is a little overwhelming and you can't even think of where to start to get back on the road to catching up. That's where you all come in. I want you to tell me what book(s) I should review first. Which ones are you dying to hear my take on? The unreviewed books are in the side bar but here are the ones from this year in the order I read them (I still have other years lingering around too if you want to really push me to revisit and catch up!):

Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate

  1. I'd like your review of the Sisters Brothers. That book is on my list for an upcoming book club and I've heard it is good. I was really far behind on my reviews, too, and set aside a day to read and blog exclusively. But when I say blog, I mean write reviews. I got three or four done and felt really accomplished. I also went through my list and decided which ones I didn't care if I actually wrote a review for and gave myself permission to write them off, so to speak. Good luck.

  2. Paris by the Book by Liam Callanan, please. I love reading about my favorite place to visit (there's always a new idea or two!), and I haven't heard about this book yet.

I have had to disable the anonymous comment option to cut down on the spam and I apologize to those of you for whom this makes commenting a chore. I hope you'll still opt to leave me your thoughts. I love to hear what you think, especially so I know I'm not just whistling into the wind here at my computer.
