It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

If reading is an escape, I guess I've had a lot to escape this past week. Reviewing is clearly not as much an escape. This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

Books I completed this past week are:

The Fortune Hunter by Daisy Goodwin
Miss Dreamsville and the Collier County Women's Literary Society by Amy Hill Hearth
The House of Hawthorne by Erika Robuck
Things You've Inherited From Your Mother by Hollie Adams
Love and Miss Communication by Elyssa Friedland
Trail of Broken Wings by Sejal Badani

Bookmarks are still living in the middle of:

The Year of the Flood by Margaret Atwood
The Surfacing by Cormac James
The Grown-Ups by Robin Antalek

Reviews posted this week:

Married to a Perfect Stranger by Jane Ashford
Between You and Me by Mary Norris
The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown
My Chinese-American by Allen Gee

Books still needing to have reviews written (as opposed to the ones that are simply awaiting posting):

The Year My Mother Came Back by Alice Eve Cohen
My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry by Fredrick Backman
Find the Good by Heather Lende
The Fortune Hunter by Daisy Goodwin
Miss Dreamsville and the Collier County Women's Literary Society by Amy Hill Hearth
The House of Hawthorne by Erika Robuck
Things You've Inherited From Your Mother by Hollie Adams
Love and Miss Communication by Elyssa Friedland
Trail of Broken Wings by Sejal Badani

  1. I just started The Grown Ups so I'll be interested in your thoughts on that one. Lots of great books being released this week so I know I'll be making the bookstore rounds :)

I have had to disable the anonymous comment option to cut down on the spam and I apologize to those of you for whom this makes commenting a chore. I hope you'll still opt to leave me your thoughts. I love to hear what you think, especially so I know I'm not just whistling into the wind here at my computer.
