  1. Do you take notes when you read? I have to write my review right after I read a book or I forget what I want to say about it. Come see my Monday Report if you get a chance. Have a great week!

  2. I guess most of these titles are "modern"? I don't think I have heard of any of them. I need to start reading more current books. I have been stuck on classics for just over a year now. Quite a long list! I wish I had more time to read or that I was faster at it. Happy Reading!

  3. I have Is This Tomorrow and Orphan Train on my kindle to read in Sept. sometime. I read your new reviews and think I will pass on The Silver Star. I read The Glass Castle--much angst--and while it was worth reading, I'm not feeling her new fiction version.

When I saw your review of Mary Coin I instantly recognized the cover, as that iconic photo of the woman prematurely aged by the Depression in the dust bowl. Interesting sounding book, but if I'm honest I probably won't read it but thanks for sharing. I do enjoy reading your reviews because you tend to read different books than I, and it exposes me to other genres. Thanks.

  4. I know what it's like to have unwritten reviews! Nowadays, I make comments on goodreads and forego reviews on my blog. No time!

  5. I'm amazed at your list of books that need reviews!! Do you review every book you read?

  6. Wow. That is quite a list of reviews to write. I find that my opinion can change about a book if I don't write a review soon after I have read it. I don't know it that's good or bad.

I have had to disable the anonymous comment option to cut down on the spam and I apologize to those of you for whom this makes commenting a chore. I hope you'll still opt to leave me your thoughts. I love to hear what you think, especially so I know I'm not just whistling into the wind here at my computer.
