Monday Mailbox

Despite my very best intentions, books do continue to trickle in. Not that I am complaining at all mind you! The first time I have an empty mailbox all week will be a sad, sad day for me. Luckily that week was not this week. This past week's mailbox arrivals:

Reasons by Tracy Faber came from Renee at Stimulating Conversation.
A young woman going to spend time with old family friends learns that one of their sons was the driver of the car that almost killed her in a terrible accident when she was a teen. The twisty possibilities of this one are just enticing, aren't they?!

I Used to Know That by Caroline Taggart came from FSB Associates for a Facebook/Twitter contest.
I am a fount of useless knowledge but sometimes trivia comes in handy. And it was handy when the FSB folks posted asking which book starts with "Call me Ishmael." Being the first to respond with the title and author won me this book (Moby Dick and Herman Melville). I'll be very curious to see what in here I used to know and what I still do know.

As always, if you'd like to see the marvelous goodies in other people's mailboxes, make sure to visit Marcia at The Printed Page and enjoy seeing how we are all doing our part to keep the USPS and delivery services viable.

  1. Nice to have something other than bills in the mailbox LOL. Reasons sounds pretty intriguing!

  2. Nice mailbox. I'm supposed to get a review copy of Reasons and I really think I'd like I Used to Know That because I say that a lot lately, lol.

  6. Oooh, I've been hunting around for Our Mutual Friend and I've just ordered online. For some reason, it's not as widely available as other Dickens novels.

I have had to disable the anonymous comment option to cut down on the spam and I apologize to those of you for whom this makes commenting a chore. I hope you'll still opt to leave me your thoughts. I love to hear what you think, especially so I know I'm not just whistling into the wind here at my computer.
