It's Monday! What Are You Reading This Week?

This meme is hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books. Well, I've managed to fall behinder and behinder on my reviews this past week. Somehow, getting to the computer just hasn't happened but that should give me ample things to post this coming week!

Books I completed this week are:

The Weight of Heaven by Thrity Umrigar
Admit One by Emmett James
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
Undress Me in the Temple of Heaven by Susan Jane Gilman
The Wolves of Willoughby Chase by Joan Aiken

Bookmarks are still living in the middle of:

The Far Pavilions by M.M. Kaye
Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens
Great Lakes Nature by Mary Blocksma (this is going to take me all year as I read her year's entries on the corresponding days of this year)
Seeing Stars by Diane Hammond
The Consequences of Love by Sulaiman Addonia
Fool by Christopher Moore

Reviews posted this week:

All-of-a-Kind Family by Sydney Taylor
The Weight of Heaven by Thrity Umrigar
Undress Me in the Temple of Heaven by Susan Jane Gilman

Books still needing to have reviews written (as opposed to the ones that are simply awaiting posting):

Admit One by Emmett James
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
The Wolves of Willoughby Chase by Joan Aiken

  1. If it makes you feel better, I can't seem to catch up on my review either! There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to get it all done.

I'm looking forward to your review of "The Help". I haven't read that one myself yet, but I will if you liked it. I'm also looking forward to your review of "Fool"- I loved that one!!!

I have had to disable the anonymous comment option to cut down on the spam and I apologize to those of you for whom this makes commenting a chore. I hope you'll still opt to leave me your thoughts. I love to hear what you think, especially so I know I'm not just whistling into the wind here at my computer.
