It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Busy week, as each of them have been since summer hit here. My daughter had her dance Nationals this past week and it was terribly exciting as her team took the Junior Best of the Beach title for one of the dances she's in. Pretty amazing to see the girls' work pay off in such a big and impressive way. But also bittersweet since it marked the last time some of the girls will dance together. And as per usual, being in a darkened auditorium for whole days at a time didn't leave much reading or reviewing time so it's good I got a fair bit in before I left! This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

Books I completed this past week are:

Together Tea by Marjan Kamali
The Silver Star by Jeannette Walls
Stargazey Point by Shelley Noble
The Illusion of Separateness by Simon Van Booy
Mary Coin by Marisa Silver

Bookmarks are still living in the middle of:

Better Than Fiction edited by Don George
Dancing to the Flute by Manisha Jolie Amin

Reviews posted this week:

Our Love Could Light the World by Anne Leigh Parrish
The Execution of Noa P. Singleton by Elizabeth L. Silver
A Dog Walks Into a Nursing Home by Sue Halpern
The World's Strongest Librarian by Josh Hanagarne
Schroder by Amity Gaige

Books still needing to have reviews written (as opposed to the ones that are simply awaiting posting):

Whistling Past the Graveyard by Susan Crandall
Call Me Zelda by Erika Robuck
The Book of Someday by Dianne Dixon
Someone by Alice McDermott
Surprising Lord Jack by Sally MacKenzie
Love All by Callie Wright
David by Ray Robertson
The Other Typist by Suzanne Rindell
Sinners and the Sea by Rebecca Kanner
Together Tea by Marjan Kamali
The Silver Star by Jeannette Walls
Stargazey Point by Shelley Noble
The Illusion of Separateness by Simon Van Booy
Mary Coin by Marisa Silver

  5. Wow, you certainly have your hands full there! But many good titles I recognize, so the reading/reviewing should be fun. Enjoy your week of reading!

I have had to disable the anonymous comment option to cut down on the spam and I apologize to those of you for whom this makes commenting a chore. I hope you'll still opt to leave me your thoughts. I love to hear what you think, especially so I know I'm not just whistling into the wind here at my computer.
