Monday Mailbox

Now that the kids are settled into school and regular life has resumed, I can really appreciate when great books arrive at my house, like they did this week! This past week's mailbox arrivals:

Painted Hands by Jennifer Zobair came from Thomas Dunne Books and TLC Book Tours for a blog tour.

The choices Muslim women in the US make are the focus of this novel about two very different friends. Should be fascinating.

Revealing Us by Lisa Renee Jones came from Gallery Books.

The final book in the erotic trilogy, this one is supposed to reveal "his" secrets. I do like the idea of turning the tables.

Mrs. Queen Takes the Train by William Kuhn came from Harper and TLC Book Tours for a blog tour.

Queen Elizabeth wanders off and travels incognito to some of her favorite places. Sounds marvelous to this Anglophile.

Sense and Sensibility by Joanna Trollope came from Harper and TLC Book Tours for a blog tour.

A reworking of Austen's novel written by Trollope? Does it get any better than this?!

If you'd like to see the marvelous goodies in other people's mailboxes, make sure to visit Notorious Spinks Talks Books as she is hosting this month's Mailbox Monday and have fun seeing how we are all doing our part to keep the USPS and delivery services viable.

  1. The Trollope book is a must have for me! its going right to the top of the pile. Painted Hands sounds good. Choices seem sometimes limited for these women but at least its a choice. In most places there does not seem to be any choice at all.

I love to hear what you think, especially so I know I'm not just whistling into the wind here at my computer.
