It's Monday! What Are You Reading This Week?

This meme is newly hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books. This was a slower week for me than the rest of the year has been so far but that has meant that I've caught up some on the backlog of reviews without adding too many more to the list. Wouldn't it be great if I managed to read *and* review like a madwoman one week instead of only doing one or the other?

Books I completed this week are:

Viva Cisco by Patrick Shannon
The Summer We Fell Apart by Robin Antalek
The Naked Duke by Sally Mackenzie
Inside the Postal Bus by Michael Barry

Bookmarks are still living in the middle of:

The Far Pavilions by M.M. Kaye
Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens
The Return by Victoria Hislop
The Sexual Life of Catherine M. by Catherine Millet
Great Lakes Nature by Mary Blocksma (this is going to take me all year as I read her year's entries on the corresponding days of this year)

Reviews posted this week:

Miss Hargreaves by Frank Baker
This Lovely Life by Vicki Forman
Openly Bob by Bob Smith
The Wife of His Youth and Other Stories by Charles Chesnutt
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Barely a Bride by Rebecca Lee Hagan
A Slant of Sun by Beth Kephart

Books still needing to have reviews written (as opposed to the ones that are simply awaiting posting):

The Summer We Fell Apart by Robin Antalek
The Naked Duke by Sally Mackenzie

  1. Interesting selection of books. I remember I tried to read Far Pavilions years ago but just could not do it...
    Thanks for sharing.

I have had to disable the anonymous comment option to cut down on the spam and I apologize to those of you for whom this makes commenting a chore. I hope you'll still opt to leave me your thoughts. I love to hear what you think, especially so I know I'm not just whistling into the wind here at my computer.
