I tend to fall asleep on the couch then wake up in time for the ball dropping then drag myself into bed. It's worked so far and this year didn't break from that tradition.

I hope 2010 is a wonderful year for you!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07965647842119649711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1119335579919927653.post-41320362232327321102010-01-02T00:11:15.034-08:002010-01-02T00:11:15.034-08:00I'm glad we had a quiet new year's eve. It just comes--and then goes. LOL

I think the best course a blogger can take is to be true to herself (or himself) and write what you're most comfortable with. If that means writing about a variety of things, including your life, then so be it. It's your blog, after all. And you can't get rid of me that easily. :-) I'll enjoy those personal posts just as much as the ones on bookish topics, I can assure you.

You just made me feel guilty. I'm reading your favorites list and saw Lobdell's book mentioned. I started it and then somehow got distracted while reading it--I think I had a couple of deadlines to meet. I need to pick it back up again.

I actually was thinking I could read that along with a couple of other memoirs with sort of religious slants to them all at the same time. We'll see if I can pull that off.

I hope you have a great New Year, Kristen!Literary Felinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13079276242303738719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1119335579919927653.post-54177405470096390452010-01-01T15:54:34.724-08:002010-01-01T15:54:34.724-08:00Happy New Year, Kristen!Happy New Year, Kristen!Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06932060902413958983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1119335579919927653.post-24683678805248963892010-01-01T13:33:53.356-08:002010-01-01T13:33:53.356-08:00What a great post! I think part of my challenge is that I feel like I SHOULD self-identify in just one blogging niche, but I don't necessarily want to confine my blog content to that. I'm just glad I have company in that challenge :-)!

Looks like you had a pretty good reading year - hope for more of the same in 2010!Florindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09789402061034734894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1119335579919927653.post-15455519653308905732010-01-01T10:51:06.892-08:002010-01-01T10:51:06.892-08:00Kristen, Your blog and reviews are terrific.
